I found an interesting reference to Best Buy’s Geek Squad while reading the Woot.com blog.  In addition to containing write-ups of their daily offerings, they also offer infrequent bits of information of varying worth.  This time it was as they stated "another one of my infrequent glances ’round the waste-time-o-sphere?"  Geek Squad Confidential was third on a the list of seven "glances".

Best Buy’s geek Squad is often considered the first choice for computer repairs by a large segment of the general population.  Before you consider taking your computer to Best Buy, you Best Read this expose by an ex-employee.

Raw, uncut and uncorroborated, you’ll think twice about bringing your computer to Geek Squad after reading this one. Keep in mind that this was written by a former Geek Squad employee.  Believe it or not. Some of the highlights of this long article follow:
