There has been considerable discussion of the one to 2 point reduction in the Google PageRank over the pst 10 days or so. Rumor was that a change in the ranking algorithm was modified to penalize blogs which had a lot of out-links, but few quality inbound links. And I was a believer in all of this when my PageRank suddenly dropped the stated 2 points.

But to my surprise, the PageRank of all of my sites returned to their former level. This site which had been ranked at 4, became 2, and now has regained a Google PageRank of 4.

I don’t know whether this represents a further tweaking of the algorithm, or whether it indicates a rollback. I would be interested in learning of others experience
